Buffy, the Vampire Slayer

I am in season 5 of the show and it is getting a little too mature for me.

Buffy and pals are either having sex, talking about having sex, imagining having sex, or saying something inappropriate about each other’s privates.

Guess where her hand is.

Where is the innocence?  Gone are the days when I could watch this show without covering my eyes.

Willow is a lesbian.

Spike thinks he's in love with Buffy.

Is this love?

Even Xander is knocking boots with a former vengeance demon.

WTH?!

What happened to the slaying?  Lately, it seems the only one getting impaled on a wooden object is Buffy.

if u don’t like watching anything slightly graphic sexually, i wouldn’t recommend continueing with the show….season 6 is um what’s the word, worse? More of the same….but more complex storyline, its my fave season…..

I’m shocked that it’s so sexual when it was a TV show. I could understand if it was on HBO or Showtime, but this was a regular network show.

And sex or not, I’m too hooked to stop now.

Never watched the show but I would assume there would be some “romance” at some point in the show. I am not sure how much they would show (some of these pics look graphic).

I know! It’s scary for a modest woman such as myself. The other night my son and I were watching an episode where Buffy and Spike were fighting to the death. Spike yelled, “If you want me Slayer, your going to have to come and get me.” Buffy said, “Oh, I’m coming. I’m coming right NOW!” Then it cut to a scene of Spike on top of Harmony banging away. I was so shocked I shrieked in embarrassment. At least the son is gone now.

I agree with miranda…. season 6 is a mine field of sexual activies…
BUT i happen to think, much more than with season 5, the sexuality is necessary in explaining the gangs emotional turmoil and inner battles..

    Thanks for the warning.

season 7 is alot more toned down…
unless you count faith…or spikes mum trying to bang him…

    What?!

calm down… it’s a flashback from when he turns his own mother into a vampire. it lasts all of five minutes

Oh yeah. I forgot it was Angel who killed his entire family and as of now in the series I don’t know what happened to Spike’s family (or I didn’t).

I remember there being an uproar about a scene graphic enough to be classified as soft core porn. I’ve never watched the show, myself.

Oh geez. I remember seeing commercials for it while I was watching Star Trek, but I wasn’t interested in it or any of the hoopla surrounding it. Guess I better be ready to cover my eyes.

I hate when shows do that – go from story to some kind of issue or sex thing. Did the writers run out of ideas and just resort to the cheap thrills thing? That’s what I always assume.

Never watched Buffy, now I’m glad! LOL

The show started when they were in high school so everything was pretty tame. Then they went to college an everybody is getting laid. Maybe I’m dismayed because my own kids are in college… I do like the show. It’s fun and the storylines are good if you like horror-ish/supernatural stuff. Sometimes I think Stephanie Meyer wrote Twilight while watching Buffy.

I was really into Buffy for a while, because I liked Joss Whedon, the creator, but I don’t remember any graphic sex. Maybe I didn’t make it into those seasons?

    Anyway, I guess I’m glad I didn’t. 😉

Maybe you aren’t a prude like me.
