New Shirts

The new shirts finally came in!  They didn’t have the pink one I ordered so I’ll have to wait until fall to try again.

Aren't they pretty!

These go into my ever growing collection of work shirts.

Look at all the colours!

With the long sleeved shirts (2), sweatshirts (2) and hoodies (3) (all not pictured) I can go almost a month without doing laundry.

This is a coveted shirt from a few years ago.  The Manager ordered a handful of black shirts with this on the back and a handful with ‘Ribilicious’ on the back.  Only a few people still have their unusual shirts.

You know I am.

I’m carefully placing the new shirts into the rotation so I don’t wear a shade of blue or dark colours two days in a row.  I’d hate to be repetitive.

Wow! This IS a ton of colors! Are those t-shirts? They don’t make you wear white blouses or anything like that? Hoodies? Oh my gosh, why didn’t places do that when I was working in food service places?! I’m so jealous! We always had to wear uniforms that were itchy and uncomfortable and in the ugliest colors imaginable.

We are a casual dining restaurant so we wear t-shirts with the company name and jeans. We can order any type of shirt in the catalogue as long as it isn’t a tank top or a belly shirt.

I have worked at restaurants where I had to wear polyester uniform dresses, black pants/white shirts, denim skirts/white shirts and black skirts/white shirts. I like the t-shirts and jeans best.

No tank tops allowed? How are you suppose to get your tips? 😉

By stuffing our bras and shaking our asses.

T-shirts and jeans rule. Everything else sucks. That’s the way of it, everyone should have to dress that way.

    I feel the same way.

Awesome. I’m so jealous. I LOVE hoodies.

I love my hoodies. They have the front pocket and are so awesome I usually sleep in them with the hood pulled up. They are better than a security blanket.

Okay, the tie-dye one, needs to be burned.

There are two tie-dyed ones and there will be no burning, you hippie hater.

For some reason it brings me great comfort to know I am not the only one who does this with work clothing.

You spend the more time in work clothes than regular clothes so you may as well enjoy them, right!
